Swinging Controller

General

  • Enable Swing: Turns the swing feature on or off.

  • Min Distance: Minimum distance required to start swinging.

  • Hook Input: Key used to activate the swing.

  • Hook Input Button: Input button name to activate the swing.

  • Rope Throwing Clip: Animation clip for throwing the rope.

  • Rope Holding Clip: Animation clip for holding the rope.

  • Animation Speed: The speed at which the rope throwing animation plays.

Swing

  • Swing Force: Force applied to the player during swinging.

  • Swing Rotation: Speed of rotation while swinging.

  • Forward Land Force Multiplier: Multiplier for the forward force applied upon landing from a swing.

  • Upward Land Force Multiplier: Multiplier for the upward force applied upon landing from a swing.

  • Damping: Damping effect during the swing.

  • Gravity: Gravity force applied while swinging.

  • Collision Friction: Friction applied during collisions while swinging.

Rope

  • Right Hold Transform: Position for holding the rope with the right hand.

  • Left Hold Transform: Position for holding the rope with the left hand.

  • Attach Transform: Attachment point for the rope on the player’s body.

  • Hook Object: The grappling hook object.

  • Rope Radius: Radius of the rope.

  • Rope Material: Material used for the rope’s appearance.

  • Rope Resolution: Number of segments for the rope’s smoothness.

  • Rope Length: Maximum length of the rope.

  • Rope Width: Width of the rope.

  • Dampening: Dampening effect applied to rope movement.

  • Smoothing Factor: Factor to smooth rope movement.

  • Throw Height: Height of the rope throw.

  • Throw Duration: Duration of the rope throw animation.

Camera Settings

  • Camera Shake Amount: Intensity of camera shake when starting the swing.

  • Camera Shake Duration: Duration of the camera shake effect.

Crosshair

  • Crosshair Prefab: Prefab for the crosshair when aiming.

  • Crosshair Size: Size of the crosshair.

Events

  • Rope Released: Triggered when the rope is released.

  • Rope Hooked: Triggered when the rope hooked onto a point.

  • Swing Started: Triggered when the swing starts.

  • Exited From Swing: Triggered when exiting the swing.
